Launch of the Second Edition of the Zakat Beneficiaries Treatment Initiative
Registration is Open
From July 5 to August 20, 2026
The Zakat Beneficiaries Treatment Initiative is a joint humanitarian initiative between the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Health. It aims to provide medical support to Zakat beneficiaries registered with Zakat committees, thereby strengthening social solidarity and improving their quality of life and health.
Target Groups:
Zakat beneficiaries: Those registered with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
Eligibility Requirements:
The medical condition must have been assessed by a government health institution, with a scheduled appointment for surgery or X-rays from a specialist physician, and the appointment must be after October 1, 2026.
The required medical service must be available at private health institutions.
Registration Method:
Registration is done through the Zakat Beneficiaries Treatment Initiative link on the e-Health Portal, or through the Zakat Committees in the wilayats, using the QR code or the initiative's dedicated website:

Note:
The initiative covers surgical procedures and diagnostic radiology, but does not include cosmetic or rehabilitative procedures.
